It’s your right. Vote.
The right to vote is a fundamental right. Sadly, only 73.9% of eligible Washington voters are registered to vote. If you don’t vote, others will speak for you. Don’t let that happen! Make your voice count. Now is the time to confirm your voter registration is up to date or to register to vote for the first time!
If you are new to Washington, or are just reaching voting age, or if you are inspired to finally register to vote, you can register to vote here – https://voter.votewa.gov/WhereToVote.aspx.
Don’t know if you’re registered to vote or don’t know if you’ve changed your address since you moved? Check here - https://voter.votewa.gov/WhereToVote.aspx.
If you are registered to vote but miss the deadline to update your address (I know, I know, it is hard to remember to change your address with every entity after a move), you can still vote. Contact your county elections department where you are currently registered to request a ballot.
After you vote, you can check the status of your ballot by logging into MyVote and clicking on "Ballot Status".
Vote. Tell your friends to vote. Nag your family to vote. Every vote matters. Make sure yours is counted.
